Founded in the late 1970s by the late Bill Collings in Texas, Collings Guitars is the flagship of American manufacturing. While the brand now uses modern manufacturing processes, it makes no compromises: every element is carefully selected and every detail is given special attention, so much so that the quality of the models produced systematically exceeds that of the most renowned Custom Shops.

When Collings decides to offer its version of a legendary guitar, it is not only with the quality and sound of the original, but also with the panache and elegance of the Collings workshop. Here, you can see that with this Statesman LC in Jet Black finish (colors are options, we can easily order this guitar in any dress you prefer), which is heavily inspired by Gretsch's Duo Jet. And what a success!

With an Alnico magnet twice the size of a PAF-style humbucker and tightly wound low-coils, the Jones Classic TV filters capture the authentic twang and growl of the filters of the 1950s and early 1960s.
