Advences is the synergy of a successful partnership between a passionate French designer and a small yet skilled Taiwanese manufacture. This highly original line synthesizes key historical features: bore and playabillity are reminiscent of the iconic Selmer « Mark VI », the ergonomical and reliable keywork feels very comfortable, sporting double bracing on several low keys.  The body is available in several optional special alloys such as phosphor bronze, nickel-silver and gold-brass, each generating specific sonics to meet individual expectations.

The Vintage B900VT baritone saxophone is the latest addition to the Advences range. It is crafted from raw, unpolished and non-lacquered antiqued bronze to optimize body vibrations and let the horn "breathe". The body is hence thicker, especially around the tone holes. Both body and keys are subsequently immersed into special baths that rapidly oxidize the raw alloy for durable protection, great vintage look and outstanding sonics. We must admit this process enhances the sound drastically, making it more dense, open and flexible. The balance and projection of this powerful tenor are also excellent and unique in this price bracket.

The workmanship of this very comfortable is truly superb. Great fluidity and dynamics, remarkable centered and full tone even at low volume. It also is mechanically reliable with no intonation problem and could be performed with any type of mouthpiece, jazz and classical alike. Although positioned in the intermediate price category, the Advences Vintage baritone will meet the requirements of the most discerning professionals.
