The Yanagisawa story began in Tokyo in 1894 when Mr. Tokurato Yanagisawa began repairing imported musical instruments for the Japanese military band.
His son, Takanobu, followed in his footsteps by repairing instruments and in 1951, built his first saxophone prototype.
For more than 20 years now, Yanagisawa has been at the top of saxophone manufacturing, and Selmer's main competitor in the classical saxophone range.
The A-WO20 bronze model is an extremely refined instrument that offers the most demanding musicians a rich, warm sound and fine intonation.
