An iconic figure of modern music (pop, rock, blues, funk, etc.) since the 1950s, Fender was founded in 1946 by Leo Fender in Anaheim, California. Through legendary guitar models such as the Telecaster or the Stratocaster, and cult amps like the Twin or the Tweed amps, Fender has revolutionized music and remains the most sought-after brand by musicians seeking character and authenticity in their sound.
The Fender Paramount Series PS-220E Ltd Parlor Cedar Top is a great looking Parlor size guitar that expands Fender's line of folk guitars dedicated to the blues, but it actually does much more : folk, country, even a bit of jazz. The cedar top offers a nice projection, slightly dark, with a great articulation. The mahogany back and sides enhance the bass presence, which compensates for the sometimes overly bright Parlor. The neck has a feel similar to an electric - at least, a similar comfort. The Fender/Fishman Sonitone Plus pickup captures the tone with great fidelity, making it possible to be heard clearly on stage, and to capture a very pure sound for the studio.
