Founded in 1890 in Battle Creek, Michigan, USA, Squier was acquired in 1965 by Fender, which makes it the brand under which it offers more affordable versions, produced in Asia, of its guitar models, and includes the production of amps to the range. These are currently instruments of good quality, which are for beginners and those looking for a backup for their setup, or wish to address new types of sounds without a financial commitment too important.

The Squier Contemporary Jaguar HH ST brings modern features and bold aesthetics to an iconic Fender platform. With a pair of Squier SQR Atomic humbucking pickups and serial/parallel switching circuitry, it offers a wide range of genre-defying tone settings. The torrefied maple neck was chosen for its optimal tone and stability, and a sculpted heel design allows for improved access to the 22nd fret. High-performance components round out the feature list and include a fully adjustable bridge with tailpiece (ST) for a rock-solid string feel.
