Founded in 1890 in Battle Creek, Michigan, USA, Squier was acquired in 1965 by Fender, which makes it the brand under which it offers more affordable versions, produced in Asia, of its guitar models, and includes the production of amps to the range. These are currently instruments of good quality, which are for beginners and those looking for a backup for their setup, or wish to address new types of sounds without a financial commitment too important.
This Squier Contemporary Stratocaster combines innovative specs with traditional style and touch. The guitar has a maple neck with a C-shape profile that ensures an excellent playability, in particular thanks to a 12'' radius and jumbo frets which allow to play fast and do easy bends. The Squier Alnico single-coil pickups deliver great output, and a clear and articulated tone.
