Founded in 1890 in Battle Creek, Michigan, USA, Squier was acquired in 1965 by Fender as the brand under which it offers more affordable versions, made in Asia, of its guitar models, including a few amps. Squiers are currently good quality instruments, addressed to beginners and to those looking for a backup for their gear, or wish to explore new tonal possibilities without too important a financial commitment.

Based on Fender's first solid body, the Esquire Classic Vibe Ltd '60s offers the same great feel and legendary simplicity of that model. With only one pickup, there's no room for error: the sound is right there! And it's excellent: crystal clear, rich in midrange, punchy... It is equipped with a 3-position switch that (1) bypasses the tone, (2) goes through the normal circuit and (3) adds a capacitor that makes it sound like a neck pickup. A gem.
