Of course, it gives its full potential when you put it on 10, and that's why the 20 Watts power, reducible to 10 Watts, is perfect because it allows you to access the velvety voice that the pair of EL34 drive without making you (too) deaf. But the kicker is that the two channels are designed to provide two types of gain: Classic and Ultra. So you have a JTM 45 and a JCM 800 in a portable and affordable combo.
