The Blackstar St.James 50 EL34 Fawn tube head is designed for studio and live musicians looking for an amp to handle DI recording, live performances in clubs or on big stages, and of course rehearsal and home work. The poplar plywood construction dramatically reduces weight while providing the aesthetic and sonic characteristics of boutique amps. Its two channels are perfect for guitarists looking for pure to overdriven tones, with built-in switches and an external footswitch included to control the whole thing. A built-in speaker simulator, effects loop, and power reduction complete the picture.
A very versatile and portable amp, it can go from clean to vintage crunch, and be pushed to grind sounds. The EL34 pair particularly shines in the low-to-medium gain range, with a vintage voice that sounds terrific in classic rock and heavy metal configurations.
It is completed by the Blackstar St.James 212 VOC Fawn Cab.
