This handy little box is compatible with most remote switching devices, such as the Electro-Harmonix Super Switcher and BOSS ES-8, and it allows you to use your switcher to toggle between RevivalDRIVE’s two channels of vintage amp overdrive or to bypass the effect altogether. And with the RevivalDRIVE Switcher Interface, you get two additional controls: Mid Engage and Blend Override. Mid Engage adds a mid-frequency boost to both the dry and overdriven signals, which is great when you want your guitar to leap out of the mix during a solo or add additional texture to chords. The Blend Override switch bypasses the RevivalDRIVE’s blend knob, letting only the overdriven signal through. Essentially, this is like having a second channel on your amp, so you can set a slightly overdriven signal with the blend control on the pedal and then bypass it for full-on crunch or to tap into searing distortion.
