The Acouphonic Mercury is a boost pedal built from vintage components, and gives a new dimension to a rather basic effect. Inside the case, which is already solid and quite beautiful, there is an internal trimmer allowing to adjust the polarization of the silicon transistor, which was made in the USSR. This will make it go into saturation if you so wish. The capacitors are also made in the USSR, and each element is of the highest quality. Coupled with a Sable overdrive, it takes you into fuzzy territory.
