Dedigned by Bernd Moosman, this bassoon is more than just an entry-level option: it will allow the newcomer to start and continue with it. Its comfortable ergonomics suits a great majority of musicians who will rapidly and easily improve their playing. The keywork is adapted to beginners but also will meet the requirements of more advanced students as much as fulfilling the expectations of a music academy or those of most harmony orchestras.
Introduced a few decades ago, this free-blowing and open model is highly recommended by music educators. Like all Moosmann bassoons, the 100 features a resin coated bore which combined with its geometry will emphasize the instrument acoustic fluidity.
Its excellent technical workmanship and proficient acoustics achieve unanimity. Being reliable and durable, the Moosmann "Student" 100 model is a long-term investment. With adequate maintenance and servicing, it will give years of satisfaction to the initial owner and maintain a good resale value on the second-hand market.
